A little about me........

 

My name is Rachel Rawlings and I am the owner/operator of Cakes from Rachel.xx which is based in Braintree, Essex and was started over 10 years ago back in 2010. What a great 10 years it has been! I started the business simply because I love baking and cake decorating and who doesn't want to get paid for doing something they love? I have had the pleasure to meet so many nice customers over the years {many who come back time and time again) and I have had the honour of making many special cakes. I will put my hand to nearly anything; I do love a challenge, however my absolute favourite area of cake craft is making sugar flowers and cupcakes.

 

About the cakes.......

 

I create handmade and home baked bespoke cakes and cupakes for any occasion; birthday cakes, wedding cakes, anniversary cakes, baby shower cakes, christening cakes, there really are no exclusions. I bake all cakes fresh and from scratch and I use quality ingredients. I can work to very specific requirements as guided by the customer or I am more than happy to lead on design and use my initiative, I'm flexible!
